Cal Pump Pressure Filters

The Cal Pump Torpedo Bio Filter is designed specifically for water gardening and koi ponds. It is constructed of high impact, UV protected, glass filled polypropylene. The Torpedo Bio Filter is designed with the highest quality and long lasting components.

The Cal Pump Torpedo Bio Filter includes two types of filtration, mechanical and biological. The mechanical action of this filter is based on the removal of organic and inorganic particles from the pond water.

The water to be filtered is forced through one specially graded screened cartridge which catches the particles on the outside of the cartridge.

Includes Filter Media and Bio Balls and a 3/4" Ball valve for back wash discharge port.

Waterfall Weirs

Cal Pump Waterfall Filters create a quick and easy waterfall effect with their new Spillways. The Spillways are available in three different sizes (10", 14", and 18").

All of the Spillways include filter media to condition the water for a smooth waterfall effect. The 10" spillway has a 1" inlet with fitting and the 14" and 18" have both 1" and 1 1/2" fittings for easy installation.

Summer usually means increased pond water loss due to evaporation, which of course leads to topping off our ponds more. You should always add dechlorinator when topping off the water level of a pond. Any amount of chlorine (such as that found in treated water) can be harmful to your fish. Even if it is not enough chlorine to mean immediate death of the fish, this chlorine can still cause harm to proper gill function.
