 The "Original" Scottish Barley Bales
Now you can promote a healthier ecosystem for your pond by giving it a double shot of Scottish Barley Bales, a technique which has been employed since the Middle Ages to naturally promote an algae free environment. Best of all, it's simple to use and 2 bales treat a 1000 gallon pond up to 1 full year.
Barley Straw should be applied twice each year, preferably in early Spring, before the growing season begins and in the Fall.
As new bales of barley straw are added it is a good idea to leave the old bale in place for an additional month or so to allow the 'start-up' of the new straw. |
